1949 Cushman Pacemaker

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To take a old Cushman that was shot and ready to be scrapped and turn it into a modern scooter in perfect shape.

What motivated you to start your project?

I had one when I was a kid in 1960

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Putting modern equipment on it. A brake light, signals, electric start engine, and great lights.

What are you most proud of?

That I did it all myself and getting First Place in the Motorcycle class of a Car Show

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

When I rode it around town, many people would give me a thumbs up, including many Harley drivers
