This is the Flare Windshield from Klock Werks – a race-inspired shield that took the motorcycle world by storm in the early 2000’s with its revolutionary design.
What makes the Flare so unique are its innovative hips at the outer edge of the windshield. These act to reroute air, which adds downforce to the front of the bike. This downforce greatly improves stability compared to the stock windshield.
The flip at the top of the shield kicks air up and back. This creates a clean, less turbulent pocket for both the rider and passenger to sit in. This makes the ride more comfortable and can reduce wind related fatigue.

The Flare comes in two styles: the Sport Flare that ranges from 6″ to 14″ and has more radical curves for a sportier stance, and the Pro Touring Flare that comes in 12″ and 15″ for those who like a more fuller coverage.
As if the Flare couldn’t get any cooler, that team over at Klock Werks added Ice Kolor to production. If you’re looking to stand out, be sure to check these out.

As you can imagine, there is a wide range of fitments available for V-Twin models, so check the Flare windshields out on the DK website to find the perfect Flare Windshield for you.
