What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To have a fully functional rc snowmobile.

What motivated you to start your project?

A fully functioning rc snowmobile that runs with hobby grade electronics is not on the market. So I joined a small group of guys that had the same ideas as I did and we all custom building rc sleds.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

About 20% of the sled is the original cheap mills fleet farm sled, the rest is custom bent and made by hand or printed on a 3d printer

The whole thing

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

That’s sweet!

It’s a plastic toy that doesn’t even have a nitro engine. Come back when you have a real sled

Drivetrain: Custom printed gear box, mated to a jack shaft/ cog drive system

Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: Custom hand made tunnel and painted black

Suspension: Some standard rc shocks

Brakes: Electric

Finish – Paint: Black painted tunnel, 3d printed parts in black and red as well.

Accessories: Lighting is not hooked up yet
