2004 Arctic Cat Snopro mod

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To restore the sled back to original factory condition, fresh off the assembly line.

What motivated you to start your project?

When I was 15 I remember standing in the pits at a local CSRA event, a crew member from RJ Motorsports fired up an 04 mod and drove right past me. That sound and that smell had me hooked, ever since then I’ve been trying to find one to go with my collection. Since they only built 85 that year, it was hard to find.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

I couldn’t be too “creative” as it needed to be factory, but the amount of time spent resourcing new hardware for this build was wild. Most of cats parts are on back order and for this sled non existent anymore.

What are you most proud of?

The over all outcome and that it took me about a year to do.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about this sled, it’s nice to see the passion is still there for these retired snocross sleds. The day of the mods in snocross is over, but it won’t ever be forgotten.
