What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Cheap reliable sled with a little power..

What motivated you to start your project?

The condition of the sled plus my cousin Dan at A2Z racing finally ported an  Engine for me!!! ( freebie )

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Probably the van amberg  extension.

What are you most proud of?

Just getting it done and putting some miles on it!!
(Definitely not that seat,that needs to go)

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

Well I think that’s the cleanest 03 I’ve ever seen this many years later.

Classification: Wild
Make, Model & Year: 2003 Polaris Pro X
Fondly known as: ProJECT X
Time spent: Three months of evenings and weekends.
Snowmobile cost: $500 with no bottom end. Previous owners mechanic said it was junk and tossed it !!?
Money spent: $3.800 including the $500
Engine: I rebuild Cranks so I found a bottom and kicking around and completely went through the crank myself. bearings,rods, Trude up and welded with a big bearing. And ported by A2Z
Exhaust: SLP ( Second to last pipe on their Shelf )
Drivetrain: My friend Brian at SRP handled the clutching. 144”x2”
Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: Van amberg Extension with tracks USA rails.
Suspension: Stock shocks with a little valving
Brakes: Stock
Finish – Paint: Stock
Accessories: Windshield bag that’s about it.
