What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Just make a nice solid, reliable, great riding sled for my lady

What motivated you to start your project?

Needed a sled for my now ex wife to ride

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Added a xp snow flap I think lol

What are you most proud of?

That people love the color combo.. I’ve had quite a few say “that looks awesome!  Skidoo should have done that “

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

They love the lil touches and color I added .

Specifics

Classification: Wild
Make, Model & Year: 1998 Ski Doo Formula 3
Fondly known as: The ol dinosaur
Time spent: Alot.
Snowmobile cost: $200
Money spent: I think I have roughly $2600 into it without time
Engine: 600 cc Rotax triple has 5,000 miles on it and never been apart. Leak down test was perfect on it so it was cleaned up and reinstalled
Intake: Carbs. Glass bead blasted, all new jets, needles, needle and seats , etc . Starts on second pull stone cold. Half a pull when warm.
Exhaust: Stock triple pipes, just torn down and blasted, 4 coats of paint, new heat pads and springs
Drivetrain: Stock TRA, glass bead blasted and full rebuild… maybe some goodies in the clutches
Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: Has a tracks usa tunnel ext, tunnel bracing powder coated white off of a mxzx , Along with tunnel grips also powder coated white to help the flow of the machine and tie it all together. Also added a flap off of a 2014 Rev XP (in white also) to the ck3 chassis just to be different
Suspension: HPG front shocks , white shock covers . Powder coated the arms White , radius rods gloss black, and new heims and zinc plated hardware. Rear is a low mile, 2004 Rev Skid, with the variable rate shock and a tracks u.s.a 136 extensions
Brakes: Stock ck3 brakes
Finish – Paint: Stock Ski-Doo purple. Reflective White powder coat
Accessories: Has a new Camoplast 136x1in track, with 168 Woodies carbide studs
