1997 Ski-Doo SL 500

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build a new ice oval racer that stood out but kept a retro look.

What motivated you to start your project?

After the track derailed the track and ruined the tunnel on my old race sled

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

I used stock 1986 formula plus reproduction decals.

What are you most proud of?

The overall fit and finish and the positive reception that it has received.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

People either love it or are like eh it’s just another ski doo. One guy said the graphics look better on that chassis than they did on the original.
