1990 Yamaha Phazer ll

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

this is #6 of dozens of Phazer build, wanted to prove ride, handling and deep snow ability of 144″ with tilted rail suspension and deep lug track

What motivated you to start your project?

I have been building for 38 year.
1985 thru 1999 build,paint and airbrush
motorcycles,jet skis and snowmobiles
ander the name D C AIR. In 1999 I moved location to larger shop and changed to snowmobile only renamed FAN ADDICTS

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

skidoo xp tank and seat moves the gas and weight back over the track. the machine is still light but now front is lighter and float the front end in deep snow at 20 to 30 mph the the woods.

What are you most proud of?

it side hills one hand while seated

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

they shoot video with phones as they side hill saying “you have to ride it to understand how easy it is”and “it looks like you are sliding thru the woods on a toboggan” as they wrestle heaver, taller and longer sleds

Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: Tunnel extension, 2012 yamaha MTX 144″suspension with 144x15x2 cut down to 1.7″ and ice scratchers
Suspension: I have skidoo 6.9s on of the time second chose is simmons gen one
Brakes: 2″ riser block for steering and fairing mount plus 7″ rox risers to the bars. Arctic cat bear cat brake cable
Finish – Paint: Stock
Accessories: 80w-100 bulb, cat rack and tail light. tank bag and multiple seats
