1986 Yamaha Phazer

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

My intention was to build a self that was able to keep up to newer mountain sleds in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

What motivated you to start your project?

I saw some modded phazers on Instagram, and I realized I really wanted to build one because they are cheap to buy, they are very fun sleds, and they have plenty of power for a bigger track

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

The most unique thing I probably did was the fan shroud. It is aluminum with stainless steel mesh and it gives it a nice industrial look

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the paint job. It was a process of trying to find the right things to paint to get it to look really nice

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

My sleds has inspired many others to buy phazers, and some of them even build their own phazers. People always tell me they really like my sleds and would like one of their own
