1981 John Deere Spitfire

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Have fun and attend braapfest!

What motivated you to start your project?

This was my first sled as a kid and my dad wouldn’t let me modify it. 40 years later I found one on a pallet behind a barn and brought it back to life to modify.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

The sled is a modified drag sled with a exhaust smoke that comes from injecting paraffin wax oil into the exhaust.

What are you most proud of?

Letting the kids make a bunch of noise and smoke

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

So cool, this is my favorite rat rod sled!
