1978 Ski Doo Blizzard 6500 plus

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

My objective was to have a clean fast sled that not to many had

What motivated you to start your project?

Always wanted one and found this one, it was in bad shape but not all busted up, I had a dream of what I wanted, so I started in on a ground up re-store

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Hmmm, prob the engine, 340 bottem end with 440 top end bored 60 over with 462 pistons, all ported with 38mm carbs and a cut rotory valve

What are you most proud of?

Really the way it all came together, Being a truck driver I had lots of time to to think about all the parts and parts I had to custom fab up, and when I started the assembly it was like clock work, it just fell together!

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

People say how awesome it is and (Hey didn’t they come with a black hood), yes they did and the parts sled I got had a hood in great shape and all in primer, so why not paint it yellow with my own decals
