What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Build a high horsepower Elan that is loud and obnoxious ! lol

What motivated you to start your project?

I have another Elan and it’s great for blazing trails but I wanted something with more power.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Built a custom tuned expansion chamber.

What are you most proud of?

The extensive amount of chassis rebuilding.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

Very cool , love the performance and sound.

Engine: Rotax , 1971 TNT 340 single cylinder . Ported, polished and resealed.
Intake: Tillotson HD . Aluminum velocity stack
Exhaust: Custom built expansion chamber.
Drivetrain: Stock 1973 250 twin double row chain case. Comet 94C clutch. All new bearings and seals .
Tunnel/Chassis Modifications: Cut out all rusted chassis parts and replace with new metal .
Suspension: Stock except for heavier Olympique springs through out
Brakes: Stock
Finish – Paint: Sanded , primed and rattle can satin black paint.
Accessories: Digital tachometer , handlebar hooks , left knee pad for oval racing .
