1973 Rupp 400 nitro

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Have a old sled that rode like a newer one and what better sled to use that a RUPP!

What motivated you to start your project?

Had a 340 nitro when I was younger and for the last few years I’ve been wanting to replace it and finally I did. First time out I blew the drive wheels and that’s pretty much where it all started

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Where do I start
-full Polaris Indy front suspension
-full track and rear suspension from a 2up Indy
-custom hooker exhaust

What are you most proud of?

Even with cutting up the entire front of the sled I still was able to keep the stock fuel tank and it’s location which was a big deal to me.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

Most people don’t even realize what’s done to it, i guess that might have something to say about the kinda job I did lol. Over all it gets a lot of looks!!
