1973 Arctic Cat EXT

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

We intended to build this for my dad’s birthday and surprise him with it at his party where we had people from 12 states attending.

What motivated you to start your project?

We wanted to give my dad something special for his 60th birthday. He had one of these and sold it years ago to buy something else. So we purchased this as a project and got to work.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

We restored the sled to an original condition. We did add some hand painted lettering like the AC spark plugs logo the Driver Jeff Johnson and the MISA logo. We also added the race number 60 for dad’s birthday.

What are you most proud of?

Our team work to get the sled done in under a month.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

Many people love the sled at the party. They were very impressed with the quality of the work especially when they heard how quickly we restored it.
