1972 Ski Doo 250E Elan

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Just a complete stock restoration and be able to take it out on the trails  for a short ride this thing is a real beat down unless the trails are nice

What motivated you to start your project?

First vintage Ski-doo I have ever restored, I restored about 10 other brands before finding this Ski-doo

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

I made replacement cross shafts for the rear bogie suspension since I couldn’t find any on the internet. I also made ski wideners for it , now it steers much better

What are you most proud of?

The whole sled people that have never seen one like it and I have had a few people tell me that an elan was what they first had for a sled when they were young

What do other people say about your snowmobile?
