Custom 2021 FXR Replica Copper Guys Frame FXR

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted something a bit different than the rest of the crowd. It needed to be, look and ride cool! It had to be comfortable because it is a long ways to anywhere in Alaska.

What motivated you to start your project?

I had a 40 year dream to build a “frame up bike”. When I found a FXR frame that was a virgin replica I new I had a starting place. The rest is history.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

There are a number of cool details. The one that was the most intense and time consuming was stuffing a non fairing wiring harness off a 2008 Road King in an FXR frame. Full electronic ignition with cruise.

What are you most proud of?

I was able to make something old new again.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

The true motor heads love the detail. Weekend warriors and bike enthusiasts ask what is it?😎
