What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To have a fast, clean, Bad ass bobber

What motivated you to start your project?

Had completed a 99 xlh1200c last year that I entered in this contest. Got to ride it once and a guy hit it in a parking lot,so I started out all over again with a ground up build.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Fabricated my own brackets, rear fender supports, top motor mount, and fabricated a custom rear brake arm.

What are you most proud of?

The fact I built the bike completely myself with zero help in my garage and it came out exactly the way I wanted.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It’s awesome and it’s bad ass.

Exhaust: Twisted choppers black hookah exhaust with bullet hole collector cover and black/titanium heat wrap
Transmission: 5 spd with new Barnett performance extra plate clutch kit
Frame: Kraftech evolution frame with 2″ upstretch in down tubes and 34 degree rake for 200 tire.
Suspension: 39mm showa forks with 2″ over tubes with progressive internals.
Wheels, tires and brakes: Front and rear brake are both Wilwood, rear tire is Avon cobra 200 on paughco 16×5.5 black 40 spoke wheel,front tire is Avon cobra 21″ on a moto iron 21×2.15 black 40 spoke wheel.
Finish – Paint: Frame and brackets powder coated by Dustin (owner of powder coat USA)in Raleigh nc. Tank and rear fender painted by auto fx.
