2017 Indian Scout

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build my wife’s dream machine and exceed her expectations on performance, handling, and riding ease.

What motivated you to start your project?

My wife is Disable, but has ridden side hacks and three wheelers  from age 12. She never had what I considered a high quality, high performance rig, building Saphire has given her this opportunity.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Attempting to make a major custom look, feel and be perceived as factory stock. In some ways this has backfired, we have not been allowed in “custom” shows because I have done a good job of maintaining a “ factory” appearance.

What are you most proud of?

The fun and joy of my wife’s enthusiasm in riding now. Previous machines were too big or didn’t perform well. Sapphire changed all this, it’s sized better to fit her, but delivers handling and performance that I feel are unmatched.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Julz my wife can’t go anywhere without getting stoped and asked about, and she love’s sharing, seems she is always giving rides. The people that get a ride come back impressed by the comfort, handling and performance, the big grins and repeat rides say it All!
