2013 Harley-Davidson FXS Blackline

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I hate black Harleys, so I knew I wanted a unique color combo and look that you don’t normally see.H-D

What motivated you to start your project?

I went into a Harley dealer not planning to purchase a bike and the blackline caught my eye from all the way in the back row and I walked out with it.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

<a href=”https://www.denniskirk.com/metzeler” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Metzeler</a>

Probably the one-off BRS 18 inch custom bars, the Subaru Cool Gray Khaki color, and the Whiplash Speed Co. Seat with color matched stitching.

What are you most proud of?

I just love the way the bike came out, especially when everyone said it wasn’t going to look good.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

I’ve had so many compliments and praise for how it turned out! Super proud of myself for my little home built bike!
