2011 harley davidson Fxdc

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Honestly started with a derby and horn cover and hasn’t stopped since. Being my first bike I’ve had the luxury of owning I’ve been constantly looking for ways to make it “my bike “

What motivated you to start your project?

I bought a stock super glide custom so I could make it my own.custom but a reliable every day ride. The bike had 6000 original miles when I bought it and in 2 months it’s at 10500.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I’d say sanding and painting my chrome Vance and Hines pipes before I wrapped them. The leather heat shields are a nice touch as well. Currently working on building my own seat out of financial necessity.

What are you most proud of?

Wiring I’m not an electrician by any means but I’ve reran every lighting wire on the bike. Also hid the underglow Wiring remarkably well. Combined 2 light kits into one customized box.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

So far I’ve had a lot of nice comments but mostly about my exhaust and the lights
