2006 Yamaha Vstar 1100

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted to have a bike that didn’t need to use a kickstand and with the way the Vstar 1100 frame is, it sits flat on the ground when layed out.

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted to build something different that I haven’t really seen before. I had the bike stripped down and just started cutting.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The customizing of the frame to make the Vstar 1100 lay all the way down hasn’t really been done before so I think that is unique in itself.

What are you most proud of?

I’m the most proud that I completed all the work myself and all the attention it causes wherever I go people always want to know what kind of bike it is and how I built it.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They absolutely love it and wonder how I did it. Once I tell them it was a bone stock Vstar 1100 classic when I bought it they are shocked. Most common thing I’m asked is “what kind of Harley is that?”

Love The overall look, especially the wheels and the white walls. The question is how does it ride being so low? I gave it an excellent based on looks, but have concern about its ride ability. Bikes need to be ridden

Did you order the tank from somewhere? how did it mount up? Where did you get the mirrors from?
