2005 Homebuilt Hardtail

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Put on the longest fork that would fit on my frame  without cutting and welding the neck.

What motivated you to start your project?

Always wanted a purple metal flake chopper since 1968/69.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Designing, cutting out,welding- making my own rockers for the springer. Remade my sissy bar. Hiding my turn signal switches in the ends of the handlebar grips.

What are you most proud of?

Rockers for my springer, the hidden Turnsignals. The look I wanted.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Cool! I haven’t seen one of those in years!
