1991 Harley Davidson FXLRS SP

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

My all time favorite bike has always been an FXR. A bagge is getting to be too much for me after having cancer.
This particular bike has low miles and needed a facelift. So that’s what I did while recovering.

What motivated you to start your project?

This bike has been in my shop through two owners. Had done some of the changes in 2005 from the original look.
The second owner had not driven it and left it in his garage for four years.
When it became available I took the opportunity to purchase it.
It needed a lot of work. My goal was to update it to look fresh in 2019.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The color combination, along with the fairing, adding the black out parts, and doing the Carbon Fiber fillings on the dash made this unique and creative.

What are you most proud of?

That it runs like a champ and is a show winner.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It was picked by the judges as best custom out of 60 entered bikes.
People absolutely love this bike in person.
