1988 Honda Shadow

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted something that was mine. Something I could say I did that.

What motivated you to start your project?

I wanted something that was mine. Something I could say I did that.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Oh man there’s so many different things from the rear fender to the storage tank exhaust or coolant resavoir. When it came to the rear fender I wanted a certain style no one sold what I was looking for so I had to make it myself with the fight of never being perfect fender after fender. Disappointed it wasn’t gonna work. I got a fender close to the style I wanted I still see the flaws but for my first time not bad with more work I’ll make em even better. When it came to the storage tank I found one online but wasn’t digging the style of it held all the electrical components great way for trouble especially if a power cable touched anything. But I wanted a storage compartment but didn’t want bags so I made a storage tank welded one side and the other side is a removalable plate. My pipes I had Vance and Hines Jardines but I kept having a vision for different pipes so I made my own pipe out of 1-3/4 and just came up with a design as it came to me.

What are you most proud of?

Being able to say I built this. When someone ask hey where did you buy such and such I can say with these hands right here

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

In all honestly I haven’t gotten any feedback beside my friends but they all love it!
