1973 Honda 750 CB K3

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build a custom 750 to race in the stock class. I raced from Laconia to VIR and intended to campaign it down south as tracks were springing up everywhere from Texas to Alabama.

What motivated you to start your project?

From my first 69 750K O I knew I had to own one in my lifetime. I road raced a Kawi 500 but couldn’t hold them down the straights. After they won Daytona that was all I needed to sell my Kawi and the search was on

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Made it as classy as it was fast. Most unique feature was not having to replace the engine. Just about every else has been replaced from front to back!

What are you most proud of?

Besides the bike itself? Having to tell everyone what it is at stop lights and shows. Go find another 48 yr old bike that looks this good. Spending time at shows answering questions about the build and the LOOKS you get riding it. Thumbs up anywhere I go!

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

It can’t be that old! Who designed it for you? Will you take me for a ride on it? How fast does it go and will it beat a Ninja? How much you asking for it? Do you know where I can find one like yours?
