I have had 3 of these winshileds. 1 on a 04 GSXR 750 and 2 on a 06 GSXR 1k. I can say they are a pretty solid piece of equipment. The only problems I have seen is one of the stickers that came with one was falling off. I removed it and took the other side off as well. My 1k has had two and the only reason for this was when I moved I had some boxes that rubbed the bike. Some fell and pushed the mirror hard into the winsdshield. It cracked a portion and actually broke another piece of it out. It must have been a pretty hard hit because it also bent the mirrors bolt thru the fairing. Installation on the 750 was a breeze. On a 06 GSXR 1k it was a bit tougher. All the holes are where they are supposed to be. Lining it up was a snap. I like this windscreen when I ride. It keeps the dash in a nice dark space with no sunlight washing the readings out. It help as well by pushing some of the air up over your helmet. For me its usually hitting me just above my faceshield area when Iam in full tuck. A bit higher and it would be pretty close to going over.
Zero Gravity products are superb; the windscreen fit my 2007 YZF R1 perfectly, whereas both the Puig and Hotbodies fell extremely short in both fitment and quality. Highly recommend Zero Gravity if you want it to work the first time.
This Double Bubble wind screen has served it's purpose. The smoke tint is great, looks cool and the Double Bubble really helps deflect the air over my head when riding. This has helped me ride longer, because I'm not fighting the wind anymore. Product fits like a glove and it looks great on my bike too.
i bought this screen for my '04 vfr. it fits perfect, and went on very easily. it really improves the looks of the bike. i got it for a week long ride, to keep more wind off off me. it does a good job, but i could stand it to be a little bit taller. that would be my only complaint. it's not that much taller than the stock screen. it looks great, but if you want something to really keep the wind off of you get the taller touring windscreen.
