Okay, it's a $100 DOT / ECE helmet, as such it does not have all of the bells and whistles of a high end helmet. Here's what it does have. Size Small: Fit my head like a glove the second I put it on, just like my old Z1R Venom Sabres. Safety. Read the 2005 article, "Blowing the Lid Off" This is the next generation of the Z1R helmet that destroyed Snell 2005 Rated helmets for safety. This helmet design transmitted less joules to the brain in collisions than Snell Rated Helmets up until 2010 when Snell finally started accounting for the fact that small heads weigh less than big ones, and the impact material density was FINALLY adjusted for this. Bottom line, this is one of the safest helmets that you can buy AT ANY PRICE, and has been for over a decade. Price, $100 for a safe helmet? I don't need to do the math for you. Features: I was really surprised to find that the venting in the Strike Ops works as well as it does, given that previous Strike models were not known for good air flow. Things about the helmet that I'm not fond of: It's kind of noisy. Scratch that. It's a noisy helmet. Not too bad with ear plugs, and I have owned noisier helmets over the years, but this one is up there. The "Small" shell is huge. It's repulsively titanic compared to a Z1R Venom. Think "Dark Helmet" from Spaceballs. Once it's on your head, who cares? My last complaint is pretty minor, the comfort padding isn't quite as good as the Venoms I've owned for the last five years. If I wasn't bald, it probably wouldn't matter at all.
TL/DR: Fits well. VERY Inexpensive. VERY Safe. Kind of Noisy. Big for it's head size. Mediocre Padding.
Do I recommend it, YES, especially if you are on a budget.
