FITMENT: It fits perfectly. Search the web for my installation video.
QUALITY: The product appears to be up to par with an OEM product.
STYLE: You can install the shock to hide the YSS sticker o show it off. All the logos are behind the spring on one side. The black shock looks nice against the white spring. Your stock shock is chrome.
FUNCTION: There are 5 adjustment settings. Don't automatically assume you want the softest setting to cover rough roads. You could easily bottom out. Mine is set at 2nd from the softest setting for a perfect ride along these rough city roads. My eyes are looking up at the road ahead instead of distracted dodging manholes.
The fit and finish of this shock is excellent. I put it on a custom scooter and it looks great. The finish seems to be durable. The shock works very well and can get stiffer than I need it, even with me at 260lbs! Ride is definitely much better than stock. The shock included an adjustment tool, which has not been the case with other brands of scooter shocks I've purchased. YSS even included 4 stickers in case just seeing the shock isn't enough. I would not hesitate to buy another YSS product. Of course Dennis Kirk came through for me as well with a good price and prompt shipping.
The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 for value is that you could get a cheaper shock that would work if budget is your main concern. If you want a really nice piece at a good price, I'd choose this one though.
