great pipe, a little loud, not bad though... the sound it produces is great. the most important part to me was the performance gained, this exhaust system not only met, but exceded my expectations (trust me you'll notice the difference in power)
By far the best exhaust ive ever owned. Ive had more then a few quads and this is by far the best sounding, best quality and best bang for your buck. If you want a good exhaust dont think that because everyone uses FMF and HMF and all the other bigger companies that you're going to get the best quality for more money.
Well i was disapointed be the fitment!!! I never would have got in on alone alot of tight fitting pcs. Also i recomend remove the plastics would be a nightmare trying to do it with them on. Other than that the sound is great looks great and is a little more peppy good product needed more work on the fit though.
Fantastic finish on the muffler and exhaust overall. Came excellently packed; clear, easy-to-follow instructions with photos. Simple to assemble...mostly. These muffler brackets are by far the worst idea I've ever seen. Poor design, a real headache to install. I was replacing an older Pro-Circuit T4 and stock exhaust. The T-4 slip-on has small brackets welded to the muffler that attach to your frame. Easy peasy. The install on this RS-3 has taken 2 hours, and they're STILL not on correctly. That bracket system is unbelievable. It comes with a pretty machined anodized spacer, bolts that are too short, washers, and silly rubberized heat gaskets that do not stay in place. You CANNOT install this with a standard ratchet set, even with the aid of vice grips and pliers and large clamps. You must use a good-sized drill motor, a flashlight held by a second person, and all your weight to get the bolts to start, which are hidden from view by the overly large but cheap brackets. ALL of this could have been avoided by tacking a bracket to the can as the Pro Circuit was. The performance and sound is fine. A little louder than the T-4, and the overall exhaust seems to be fine. The spring connections are tight but they provide a spring tool with the kit. Overall, a fantastic product with that fatal flaw. If I were to do it again (and I wouldn't), I'd save myself the grief and put my own bracket on the exhaust can and be done with it. My shoulders and elbows hurt and I have a headache. Not even the look, sound and performance can make me feel better about what a royal pain this was to install.
