Overview of Woodys Executive Series Carbide Wear Rods - WYV-6550

  • Designed for performance trail riders and cross-country racers
  • 8 in. of 60 degree carbide with front and rear wear pads
  • Full-length hardweld between carbide inserts
  • 1/2 in. diameter host bar, 3/8 in. studs

NOTE: Some models require drilling extra holes in skis to mount carbides. Dennis Kirk recommends removing any paint from the studs with a wire brush.

These are the first Woodys carbides Ive bought. So far so good. They are holding up well and really bite good. I will buy these agin when the time comes

I put these wear rods on my old 1994 Polaris prior to a trip to the UP of Michigan. Tremdously improved handling!! I could run 50-55 mph very comfortably with my old sled. Durability is not measurable at this time as I only used them for this one trip. Now the snow has disappeared in WI.
