There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Discoloration (bluing) is the result of tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc., and is not caused by defective manufacturing. See the CHEMS/LUBES section for products that will help prevent or remove bluing.
Installation of a new exhaust system may change your motorcycles fuel-air mixture requirements. Please consult the exhaust manufacturer directly with questions regarding any modifications that may need to be made during. or after, installing their product. If a jet kit or fuel processor is recommended, see the FUEL/INTAKE section

Great service DK as akways!!!
They are loud but the low rumble is what every Harley owner is looking for. Drivers will definitely know you are in their vicinity. They're only really loud when you open the throttle to accelerate. Once you back off, they just give off a nice throaty deep sound. I can feel the difference in the acceleration too. The bike actually feels a bit "lighter" in its response - sort of like no longer having a stuffed up nose and a cold! I looked at these, Pythons, Cobras and Cycle Shack slip-0n's. I chose these because of V&H reputation for quality, the full length heat shields, and the fact there there were 63 reviews compared to virtually none for any other brand. The Cycle Shack ones look most like the OEM's with the tapered ends that slip on the headers and they were my second choice. The Cobras look a little bit too much like they belong on a touring bike and not a Wide Glide. The Pythons are slash out and I wanted slash downs.
Bottom line, go for it if you want to maintain the original look but want better performance and sound.
Can never go wrong with V&H. I did a lot of research, this pipe retails at $249.99 on V&H website.
