Best price anywhere
You will not regret getting these pipes from DK, saved a bunch and they arrived in 5 days. They are a little louder than I would like but thats ok my neighbor's a jerk so I can live with it. Consider the quiet baffels they tone it down a bit and increase the low end torque.

Sporty Pipes for Sportster
Loved them from day-1 & very easy to install. V&H did their homework when designing them b/c they fit perfectly & looked great. Received many complements when out riding. One of the cheapest full exhaust system replacements on the market & you get the quality too!

Better than I hoped for...
These pipes took me about two hours to install, but would have been quicker if i had my toolbox organized (searching through a pile of loose sockets ;-)

The sound is awesome. They look great. And you can't beat the price!

Great pipes, great price
I installed these pipes on my 07 Nighttrain, and they are great looking and sounding. They were easy to install, and give a better sound than pipes twice the price. I would recommend these pipes to anyone looking to enhance their performance and looks of their bike.

Yea Baby!!!!
I just installed these pipes on my 2010 Fatboy, it took about 2 hours. I'm extremely happy with the sound of the bike, now it sounds like a HD. Dennis Kirk had the best price on the internet for these pipes, no need to shop around.

A lot of LOUD for a little money.
I purchased this exhaust for my 09 HD Iron. I was looking for something a lot louder than the stock exhaust, which to me sounded like a lawnmower. The exhaust was simple to install. With directions, I had the process complete in a couple of hours.

I can't believe how loud this exhaust is. I'm contemplating purchasing the quiet baffles. After longer rides, an hour or so, my right ear(exhaust side), is less sensitive to ambient noise. The ends of the pipes are positioned laterally to my ear and the concussive sound seems to come back off the road, or any other near object, right back at me.

If your looking to get LOUD, these should definitely satisfy your needs.

**I didn't rate the performance section, as I don't have dyno access.

great looking pipes, super price
These pipes look killer, and cost less then most slip-ons. They fit perfectly, not a big surprise for V&H. Only thing I didn't like was the sound was super raspy, even metallic, and they are very loud. I found that using the quiet baffles brought out some more base, a deeper growl, and they were not quiet by any means. The quiet baffles cut out most of the metallic rasp and gave them the HD sound that the bike deserves!

Awesome pipes
Instructions were straight forward and everything went together pretty easy. One thing, if you're putting them on a carbureted bike you need to purchase plugs for the o2 sensor ports separately. Look and sound is killer

do I need a fuel pack if I change to Short shots ?
A shopper on Mar 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: When I installed my V & H Short Shots a fuel Pakistan wasn't required because my Sportster was not fuel injected. If your bike has fuel injection it would be a wise investment.
can I buy the heat shields only?
Patrick B on Sep 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We don't have them separately, you would have to contact Vance & Hines
Why wouldn't these pipes fit on a 1988 1200. Is the mounting brackets the only difference?
Tommygun on Aug 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The frame changed drastically in 2004,You may find a metal fabricator to make custom brackets to mount to the old frame.
