I don’t want baffles, are they in there?
Matt H on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Baffles come installed. There is an optional quieter baffle so the stock ones should be removable.
Are the o2 ports plugged or do I need to buy some?
A shopper on Feb 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: As shown in overview:
NOTE: 86-06 models require O2 sensor port plugs Part No. 44-03276
Did the kit come with exhaust gaskets?

What baffles come standard ?
A shopper on Mar 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Bafiles come standard... they can be removed if you want it louder. My bike was lowered front and rear 2 inches. This system is long so it made turning right difficult. The system would bottom out on the street. Sooooo if your bike is lowered be careful turning right.

Over all great system. I loved it.

Quit agonizing over pipes selection!
The folks at Dennis Kirk will give you the straight talk by phone or email about questions you have regarding Vance & Hines pipes selection. Just decide how loud or quiet you want to go, the tone pitch you want, and the look you're after on your bike. Then let Dennis Kirk take it from there and you won't be sorry. All my expectations were exceeded and delivery was suprisingly fast. I couldn't be happier with the way my new pipes sound and look, and the help and service from Dennis Kirk was outstanding.

07' Heritage. Rear footpeg has to come off to put them on, and will need a spacer once on to get her boots off the pipes. Looks very classy, clean, and sharp. Love the deep sound and people definitely notice and are checkiin them out.

EXCELLENT Exhaust!!!
I bought these V&H based on look and rumor of sound. I pulled my old stock headers with Screaming Eagle II slip-ons. New mounting braacket, swap flanges, and the V&H exhaust bolted up beautifully! I forgot to order the O2 sensor blocks since I don't have O2 sensors, so called DK. They shipped the kit AND waived shipping. I reprogrammed my ECM with my Power Commander III and started up my 06 Deuce. MUCH deeper, MUCH louder sound. Took the bike for a spin, and the throttle response is astounding! I hear less of the exhaust while I ride since I went from slash cut to straight long pipes, but I hear NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS about the sound! VERY VERY HAPPY PURCHASE. DK was also the CHEAPEST site selling these pipes!

can't go wrong with V&H
one piece pipes from head to tail make it a solid design. easy to install. install pipes first then heat shields. gives a TC the right Harley sound. glad i spent the money to buy these exhaust. have not taken the baffles out and with the good sound these pipes make don't need to.

I ordered these along with a twin cam air cleaner kit. I was very pleased with all the help your staff gave me in order to help me decide on which pipes to order. Both items came on the exact day promised which was only 5 days including Sat. & Sun. They look great and sound awesome on my 2009 Heritage Classic. Exactly what I was looking for.

istallation of big long shot pipes
For the third time trying to give a review
The pipes are ausome easy to follow instructions looks great sound even better that they look ...only two things could have been an issue if you did not have lots of tools. The main mounting bracket needed to have all 4holes drilled out 1/8 inch larger to accept the dog bone nuts where it hooks onto welded flanges on pipes ..and needed to run a tap through O2 censor holes to accept the plug from Kit ordered with pipes.
Needed two sets of hands only to hold pipes as I put flanges to heads just to hold weight off studs other than that took 1 1/2 hours total as I had old pipes off before the delivery of new ones..sound great loud and throaty ,looks super on my 94 FLSTC if your thinking about these pipes get them you will not regret it at all

Love these!
03 heritage softail.
I got rid of the staggered SE 2's slip ons. These were a tough install, took almost 4 hours but that includes a trip to the Stealership to get new circlips. I did it my self but an extra pair of hands would be nice. I love the new sound, it sounds right, not nasty loud, but very noticable, and putting the noise at the rear of the bike make riding so much more enjoyable. Why HD ever started staggered pipes right into your ears? IDK
You cant go wrong with V&H... just look around at any rally & you'll never see these trashed out.
Also installed the Fuel Pak & that was crazy easy to install.
