Great purchase
This exhaust system is totally awsome. Took me about three hours to install. The fit was perfect and the look is great. The sound is awsome and better than expected. My wife thinks its a little loud but I think it is perfect, and that is with the baffles in. These pipes are by far the best acessory I have added to the bike to date. VERY VERY satisfied with my purchase. On the install just take your time and read the reviews, I was a little secptical about the left muffler because of all the reviews I had read including reveiws on different web sites. Dennis Kirk has the best price by at least 50 bucks and only 10 bucks for shipping and shipping was fast. What are you waiting for, just do it you will thank yourself when they are on.

nice pipes for the nomad
These pipes are very nice for the nomad. Sound good and sound deeper the more miles that you put on them. Fitment is good, except for the left side muffler might have to trim just a bit to get the right fit. I like the overall look and sound.

Satisfied Customer
Very pleased to have made this purchase. Shpiping was right on time, packing was good but I couldn't give a 5 because of waisted time of getting the tape glue off the crome where the heat sheilds were taped to the header pipes but there were no dings or csratches so the cleaning wasn't so bad. The fitment was perfect, no troube at all. The sound was awesome, evrything thing I expected and hoped for. I haven't installed a fuelpak yet, it seems to run really good as is???
I 'm another Happy & Satisfied Customer... Thanks Dennis Kirk///Vance & Hines Me & My 08 Nomad 1600

as always great service from dennis kirk
love the pipes, love the sound, on a kawasaki just know that you have to do something with the reed valves, like marble them or remove them and put replacement plates on, or they will pop and sputter when letting off the thottle

great buy
Everybody told me I would lose a little mpg if I put pipes on my bike, instead I've gained 3mpg and it sounds great!
Wish I would have done it a long time ago.

Well Worth the Money
I needed to give my Nomad a little more bark - the stock exhaust just didn't cut the mustard. The V&H were just what the doctor ordered. The deep rumble is simply unbelievable. Just loud enough to get you noticed, but refined enough to not offend your neighbors. I also installed an electronic fuel processor to prevent the lean fuel mixture you get with aftermarket exhaust systems.

Great Deal and Service from Dennis Kirk
I purchased a set of Vance & Hines Bagger Duals for my 2007 Vulcan Nomad 1600 from Dennis Kirk. From the phone order to installation, this has been a great transaction. The young lady I dealt with was very courteous and went out of her way to help speed things along. After hours of research and shopping, Dennis Kirk beat everyone on the retail price and shipping. They even went as far as to surprise me by mailing me a $10 gift card that arrived the day before the exhaust system. The pipes were well packaged with no visual finish defficiences. A free catalog was also sent with the package. The installation was quick and simple with very good instructions. Thanks for a memorable shopping experience.

V&H Baggers
Excellent sound, fitment was a little difficult. The muffler bolts did not line up with the bag supports, off by 1/2" had to use a come-along to align. I've installed several systems and this seems to be the norm.

2003 Nomad 1500 fi
Hats off to the shipping department at Dennis Kirk! I ordered on Sunday and the pipes were delivered on Tuesday. In the past I have waited weeks for pipes from other companies.
The reason why I didn't give five stars to finish is that the left muffler had a small ding in the tip upon arrival, but the chrome fininsh is outstanding otherwise.
The fitment was off by 3/4" on each header pipe, so I had to remove the headers and cut off before the mufflers would fit correctly.
The stock pipes were weak sounding as you may already know, but these babies bring the 1500 fuel injected motor to life.
I did not install a fuel module, I just disconnected the positive off the battery to reset the IMAP sensor and it runs great!

Will I need a fuel management module with the new pipes? Some people do and some don't.

BEST ANSWER: I have the power commander iii and it runs fine on the pre tune map for Vulcan it should run fine without but to have it run its best to get a fuel management device
