Severe disappointment
Beware - this part is not splined and just rotates when put on the male shaft. Stalled me out two weeks of riding, and when I contacted Dennis Kirk technical support for Harley products he agreed that all makes/models/years needed splines in order to make a fit. I was referred to a business that specializes in antique motorcycles and purchased the exact same piece. It came with the normal spline, for 25% of the Dennis Kirk price and came in half the time. Real disappointment for a company that was able to support me rebuilding the entire transmission in the first year Softail - 1984.
