I have a 2007 Softail Custom FXSTC, I bought it used and it was already slammed (lowered). As I'm getting older I'd like to raise it up a bit (2"+)and get a more comfortable ride. Will I be able to get the 2"+ and a more smooth ride with these shocks??

Fit perfectly replacing original equipment. No install directions with product so you'll need a service manual. No complaints, recommend the product

Had them on only a few days. So they get a good rating. However no info or instructions included. Use the Harley manual for load settings. I like my ride a little stiffer. They come set really soft.

These shocks felt good for the first 500 miles and then suddenly became very soft and spongy, just as bad as the stock ones they replaced. I had replaced them shortly before a 2000 mile trip. On the test ride they felt good but on the trip they failed miserably. I was riding solo with only a 40lb bag on the back seat. I tried adjusting the preload of the shocks on the trip but made little to no difference.

I haven’t put the shocks on yet on my bike but when I do I’ll let you know but just looking Adam you look fantastic and they don’t feel cheap quality made I’m very happy.

Purchased these for a 2003 Heritage Softail. They were faulty out of the box. The adjustments for preload made absolutely no difference is shock firmness.
