These boots require no break-in time. Extremely comfortable; waterproof; side zipper makes them easy to put on. My shoe is size 8; the size 8 boots fit perfectly. This is my 3rd pair; the soles wear a little faster than other boots I've had but last pair had almost 17,000 miles on them.
I received these boots about two weeks ago and was finally able to get out for a ride with them on my feet yesterday. I was pleased with the fit (I wear a size 8 shoe and the size 8 boots are just right). I was able to get the side zippers up to the top of the boot without trouble (had to use a pair of pliers to get the zipper up on a pair from another brand that I tried). The flaps covering the zippers were easy to secure and stayed in place. The toe of this new boot is a bit higher than my old worn out boots, so it took a few miles to become accustomed to getting my toe under the shift lever on my BMW, but with a few more miles, I'm sure I'll get used to that. Because they are new, they felt a bit stiff, but by the end of my ride, they still felt comfortable. Haven't ridden in rain with them yet, but I may have that opportunity next weekend. If that happens, I'll update my review here. These appear to be a solid and comfortable pair of riding boots made by a reputable company.
I was excited to get this boot that claimed it was waterproof, and was a comfortable boot to wear. I usually wear a 10 but the boot fits large so a 9 fit well. The boot has a lot of stitching on it and claims it is waterproof but my socks were soaked after a steady light rain. So then I came home and sprayed waterproofing on them. Still no luck. My other complaint is that the soles wear like cheese. I have worn them for one season and they are worn down and need a new sole put on if I am to wear them anymore. Lastly I have emailed the company and still no reply. I would think twice about buying these boots.
