I purchased these Tour Master Flex pants about a month ago,fit and finish is perfect, been riding with the liners out,90+ degrees , still get decent air flow, more comfortable than standard jeans and alot better protection....
I purchased these in early July and they are great for riding in hot weather. I wore them for an entire trip around Lake Superior and they worked well for all the weather changes we experienced over 8 days. The heat resistant panels could be a little wider on the inseam; so be carefull when standing over a hot bike at a stop light to stretch. Overall I think they are a good investment.
I like to ride any time i can, however living in minnesota the mornings can be a weee bit cool, i found these pants and love them, i would actually wear them in the summer i feel warm and comfy, no binding or anything like that. I am a shorter guy so I ordered the "Short" version, fits like they should. I went one size group over my normal waist size so i could wear my normal jeans or work clothes and they are simply awesome. I feel very safe in these if something where to happen.
If you buy any other brand of motorcycle-specific clothing, it can't possibly match Tour Master for value. I was skepitcal about the reviews, because how could something rated so high in its reviews cost so little? Now I am a believer. If you use the sizing charts, the fit is as described. The only justifiable complaint I found on these pants was problems with the zippers, so before I even tried them on, I lightly coated them with vasoline using a Q-tip. The zippers worked great after that. And Dennis Kirk...hands down the best on-line retailer.
Nice pants, and I really like the zip-off feature of the legs. It's great to be able to start off on a cool morning with the panels zipped in, and then convert the pants to mesh pants when it warms up.
