Supertrapp Universal Muffler
Good quality. I like the fact that this muffler can be repacked. The weld on tab was good because you can move the tab to wherever that you need it. This muffler has a very deep tone to it. In fact the only thing that I didn't like about the muffler is the aluminum outside body. It will be a pain to keep the oxidation off of it.I would recommend this item to a friend.
A++++. Performs as advertised
Pros: Exhaust flow adjustable to your jetting/EFI. Or you can open or close it up and rejet/EFI MAP between greater fuel efficiency and maximum torque and horsepower. On my ZX-9r I rejetted 2% richer, resulting in about 3% better power throughout powerband, crisp throttle response and a 4-9% decrease in fuel consumption. Will fit just about any motorcycle or car application (see inlet diameter). Excellent choice for multiple elevation traveling. Sound level: adjustable from quiet to BLOW-TORCH ROAR Cons: requires aluminum TIG weld for motorcycle rear set mount ~$30 For video search YouTube: ZX-9r SuperTrappI would recommend this item to a friend.
Exhaust engineering excellence
Easy to follow instructions, easy to tune, and actually results in more power and more fuel efficient combustion. Expect about 3% more torque & horsepower and about 4% - 9% better fuel efficiency if tuned correctly. On my older 899cc 4-cylinder Kawasaki ZX-9r I run 8-9 discs. The new liter bikes don't get far away and when they're on vapors, I'm just getting started. And there isn't another exhaust that will match its performance for runs between low and high altitude. The Supertrapp keeps the jetting right in its sweet spot all the way up to 9,000,' without leaning the balance way out at sea level. The new kids say Supertrapp is old school.
