  • Large 7/16" diameter host bar for long life and great handling
  • Front and rear carbide pads to increase durability
  • Has four inches of 90° control carbide
  • Great for sleds without studs or conservatively studded
  • Angle cut at rear of bar to ease trailer unloading
  • Easy installation

Note: Some models require drilling extra hole(s) in skis to mount carbides.Dennis Kirk recommends removing any paint from the studs before use by wire brushing

big difference
these were easy to install and seem to be a more durable alternative. they have great bite on ice, but poor trail conditions leave me without enough real feedback to make a definate call. with bare patches on the trail, and light coverage on the connecting streets, i am a bit concerned as to what might be left of the carbide inserts. if they're still there, i would have to give these 5+ stars for durability.
