Even with red lock tight these product keeps coming loose and falling off. I have lost the tip and then one whole cable.

These are much better than the spring-loaded type. You can leave them down all the time, or put them up on the rail. You don't have to worry about putting them up before you back up.

Don't waste the money
Don't throw snow like the spring type, carbide tip wears off in less than a 100 miles, gouges rails if you put them up. And wont stay in position even with red loctight. only good thing about them is you can back up with them.
