Work good with some modifications
First of all the wing-nut used to closed the clamp is a bad idea. Can't quite get enough bite to keep clamp from rotating. Switched to a stainless hex nut with washer and now good to go. Secondly, the rubber liner was too thick to use on my a-arm. Had some rubber matting that I cut to size and now fits perfect. Love the location that not only adds lube to the hyfax but sprays enough to cool also.

Comes as a pair or separate??
A shopper on Feb 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They are priced and shipped as a single... I didn’t pay attention and received one and had to order the second.
Can they be tucked out of the way when not in use? Or do they need to be removed?
A shopper on Jan 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. Loosen the wing nut, rotate, and retighten. They work great and only need to be lowered when conditions require it
Does it work in reverse?
Stephen Y on Mar 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They work fine in reverse and they work well. You have to be careful with thiings like loading and unloading your sled from your trailer if you use the StraightLine scratchers. The carbide tips are at a 90 degree angle and will catch on the edge of a ramp or floor or anything with a sharp angle and pull off the wire. I had it happen twice. StraightLine customer service was great and replaced them. You will have to lift them at a rail crossing and curbs or anywhere they can snag, and they are unforgiving. They will pull apart and there is really no putting them back together. This goes for rail mount of the scratchers too I would bet. You might want to use the bracket and a Duraflex style scratcher with more of a curved tip. I have a friend with them rail mounted with no issues so I bet A arm mounting would be just as good.
Can any cable scratchers be mounted to this A-arm clamp? For example Duraflex cable scratchers?
Biker207 on May 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes i believe so
Will these clamps work on a 2012 Polaris Pro A arm?
David A on Mar 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure but they work on my RX-1
What do they do?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They allow you to mount ice scratchers to your a-arms instead of your suspension rails
mounts for 2006 Yamaha Apex?
michael d on Jan 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I run these on a 2015 SR Viper. These are fairly universal fit with a rubber inner mount and adjustable over clamp which can be wrenched down tight. Definitely make sure you check fully steering range once installed to ensure scratcher will not catch your ski when bars are fully turned.. I a saw a guy who did not and the scratcher caught the edge of his ski during a sharp slow speed turn and he could not straight out his steering without unhooking from his ski edge.
