I used this to replace the CV slide in my high-mileage XLH1200. Someone had drilled out the air passage on the original and the edges of the slide had grooves worn on them causing it to stick. This Slinger slide dropped right in, fit perfectly and cured the problem of acceleration hesitation and poor low speed performance.
Although the specs do not indicate that this part would fit, I took a chance and this part is a perfect fit for my 2007 Buell Blast CV40 Carb. The annoying hard start and backfire issues are finally gone.
my 03 sprotster was having some issues when i first got it. after a set of torque cones, bigger piolet jet ,and a dyno kit. i noticed that the rubber diaphram on my origional part had been damaged from back fire.my origional part had the pick up drilled open in a futile attempt to gain preformance with open exhaust. NEVER drill open the pick hole it makes the piston advance too fast and its a good way to foul plugs or back fire.
