2009 Arctic Cat M1000

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

It all started with putting the 3″ track on it. Kind of spiraled from there.

What motivated you to start your project?

The stock m1000 was great I had no problem keeping up to the boys on their new 850s and, turbos. But I wanted more, I wanted something to blow the doors off ’em. Really show them how much they over paid for their new junk.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Just about a 9″ tunnel chop on the ol’ girl

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I bought this sled for $75 in boxes and, assembled it having never touched a cat before. Rode it for a season. Then tore it all apart to add these tasteful mods and, then packed the skis everywhere I went after that.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

“That looks dangerous”… can’t really blame ’em I guess. 9” tunnel chop and, no tether… oops
