To have a head turning reliable snow machine that has a more modern suspension package for my bad back (I had to have a fusion in my lower back 5 years ago)
I love the reliability and reputation of a Yamaha 700 triple not to mention the sound 🙂
Complete 136 inch mono skid from a 09 vector that I completely disassembled, powder coated and reassembled and mounted into my tunnel, also did a tom Hartman tunnel extension and finished it off with a extra gas jug to get me home 🙂
Fit and finish and how well this skid works in the sled, handling is night and day and with my back not what it use to be I can still get out for a decent trip and not be crippled at the end of the day. Also since I have stretched it to 136 from 121 I can feel more comfortable taking it off trail without the fear of getting stuck.
They cant believe that its nearly 20 years old, It really looks like she belongs on the dealer show room floor and I’m very proud of her 🙂

Pretty slick sled. I always wanted one of these..bet it flies!
Hey, awesome sled! I have a blue Yamaha Sxviper that I am looking to get some better suspension on. First of all how did you get the front to sit higher, second how did you stretch the vector rear skid what all went into this process. Did you have to drill new holes in the tunnel? Does it overheat in the trials, and is it any more tippy than stock Thank you. Again I love the build.
Does that suspension allow the sled to wheelie?
How did you mount the skid into the tunnel? How can I get the adapters? How did you strech the plastic covers for the side of the tunnel? Thanks
