What was your intended objective when you started the build?
To bring the sled back to its glory of when I raced it. Sled had been trail converted and a Summit 800 had been subbed into it.
What motivated you to start your project?
This was my old race sled, I sold it in 2006 at Haydays. I have been looking for it since 2010 to buy it back. Finally located it in the spring of 2020 and bought it back. There was no motor in it and half the old race parts were in totes.
What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?
Tearing everything down and converting it back to mixed race gas.
What are you most proud of?
I have a lot of memories with this sled, some good, some bad and to hear it fire up after rebuilding it brought all those memories back. After 14 year I have MY race sled back.
What do other people say about your sled?
That it is insane and loud.
