2003 Polaris RMK 700

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To make a one of a kind sled that people would question what model it is.

What motivated you to start your project?

When I bought the sled I was wanting to fix the graphics. Then I realized, when I found a hood and seat from the 2004 Polaris Pro XR 800 that this was the direction I was going to go with the sleds colors and graphics. I have wanted the Pro XR 800 for a while so I built my RMK to look like one.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

When I installed the orange shorty seat, I designed and hand drilled custom RMK rails that fit on top of the tunnel between the seat and the back rack.

What are you most proud of?

The graphics that I designed and made and the custom RMK rails on the back of the tunnel. Also the slydog skis and bogie wheels really finish the sled. The front and rear suspension was stripped and re-powder coated with custom colors.

What do other people say about your sled?

The neighbors thought it was an Arctic Cat, I laughed and said Polaris. My friends where amazed from what it looked like last winter. Other sled heads on facebook sayed holy fu**, that is sick.
