1997 yamaha vmax 600 xtc

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

keep the sled a reliable trail sled but also give it a better track to help in deeper powder to keep up with the more modern sleds. I wanted to keep it in the family, able for my mom and sister to ride it. My intentions were to make it a mild build and keep away from making it a mod sled

What motivated you to start your project?

my father bought this sled back in 1998. Its been in the family, rode by everyone and always reliable. My father gave me the sled back in 2015 after I helped him rebuild the motor with new wisco pistons. This sled was always fun to work on with my old man and helped us create memories we will never forget. I wanted to keep this sled up and running and looking good to keep a smile on my fathers face.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

I really like how the wrap turned out. I purchased it from a Canadian company in Ontario, Spiralus Design. The overall look turned out great!

What are you most proud of?

Im proud to keep the sled in the family and to keep my fathers once new sled in running condition.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

I havnt rode it yet since the new wrap but I cant wait for the conversations at pit stops this winter.
