1997 Polaris XLT

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To make a bad ass drag racer

What motivated you to start your project?

Old habits die hard love to drag race so I found out from a friend that they drag race snowmobiles on the asphalt. And so it began.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

most of it is unique. It started life as a 97 XLT xtra 12 with a mono block 600. now it has a 136 skid with a 800 ves engine. trying to put the 800 in a sled that has never been in that kind of sled is hard to do. lots and lots of fab work.

What are you most proud of?

the look of it sitting there. have yet to see what it does with the 800 VES engine. it ran 7.15 with a 680 SPX engine in it at first.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

WOW that thing is bad ass.
