1993 Ski-Doo MXZ

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Build a race sled . I got the right chassis and motor set up . Stock motor comes  with a 470. That’s long gone now. I got a 617 for it

What motivated you to start your project?

Well I love the r chassis. This is the first year of it and also the 50th anniversary also and this sled is 200 pounds less the the mid 90s f chassis so that’s one big reason and the other they r super hard to find.  And in good  shape alot of fiber glass on it . Mint happens to be near mint shape.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the sled?

Putting a 617 twin in it. It got about double the power now and the sled is only 400 some pounds 92 pts sleds r well over that.  And also it’s a sled u don’t see all the time

What are you most proud of?

How clean I got it. And putting the motor in it.

What do other people say about your snowmobile?

They stare at it for a min until they heir it and it doesn’t sound like a 470 lol . Ppl say very nice sled those are super hard to find
